I’m Tala, an Integrative Health Coach

I understand what it’s like to feel stressed, overwhelmed and conflicted when trying to take care of your well-being. There is so much noise in the health and wellness space that it can be hard to know where to begin. And sometimes, not knowing where to begin prevents us from even starting at all! I am here to help you begin.

I offer an empathetic and compassionate approach to Health Coaching because I’ve been in your shoes.

I worked in healthcare for over 10 years and saw and experienced the frustrations firsthand of the healthcare system in treating the symptoms and not the disease or the root cause of the symptoms. Struggling with multiple health issues myself from anxiety, burnout, and gut issues to poor nutrition, lack of sleep, and poor circulation, I felt completely lost in what symptoms I should focus on alleviating.

I went to multiple doctors and rarely felt validated and heard. I was “young” and looked “healthy” so it was all just “stress.” I was never guided or supported to work to incorporate changes in my lifestyle to make better choices for myself.

Which leads me to why I chose to become an Integrative Health Coach. As cliché as it may seem, I truly love educating and helping people. I knew I wanted to help others become their own health advocate so that they can filter through the noise and overwhelming information in the wellness space. I want to help you create goals and plans that work for you and your lifestyle.

Each and every one of us is unique and we require unique approaches. I trained at Duke Integrative Medicine, with a focus Science, Statistics, and BioIndividualtiy (AKA what works for YOU). I do not only look at one aspect of your well-being. I look at the whole picture, the whole YOU. Current and Future YOU.

My ultimate goal for you is to create the space for you to feel heard and empowered to improve and shape your mindset and your habits so they become a natural part of your lifestyle.
